How to Order Grass Fed Beef How it Works

  • Call or Text Jack Sarro at 781-206-7653 with Questions and tell him you would like to Order Beef
  • Beef is sold at $5 per pound based upon side of beef hanging weight, fee includes all custom processing, vacuum sealed, and delivery to South Shore
  • Payment options include cash, check, or PayPal including credit card
  • Average hanging weight per side of beef is approximately 300 lbs.
  • Average Freezer or take home weight of side of Beef is approximately 200 lbs. influenced by custom cut order
  • Average cost per side of Beef is approximately $1500
  • Terms of Sale are here in the Beef Sales Contract
  • All checks are made payable to Don Markie of JAMY Farm West Haven, VT
  • Complete your Custom Order Cut Sheet Click Here
  • Place a deposit of $250 per side of beef with completed cut sheet 1 week prior to your Beef Butcher Date
  • Don Markie will transport your beef cow to Vermont Livestock and Processing Company in Ferrisburgh VT for processing
  • Final Beef Weight  will be determined at USDA Butcher
  • Beef will be USDA processed, aged, custom cut, vacuum packaged and deep frozen at Vermont Livestock and Processing Company
  • Beef is always handled with complete care and attention to detail from start to finish
  • Don Markie will deliver your Custom Beef Order in approximately 4-6 boxes approximately 4 weeks after your reserved Butcher Date
  • Final Balance and Payment is due to Don Markie upon Delivery of Your Beef Order

JAMY Farm, located in West Haven Vermont and is owned by Don Markie. West Haven has a human population of approximately 260 people. This is pristine country located on Lake Champlain and having thousands of pasture acres. It is home to numerous cattle farmers. In an effort to preserve this environment, the minimal build-able lot for a home in West Haven is 25 acres with 1000 ft. or more of road frontage. There are definitely more cattle than people in this town, and they all tend to be raised on green grass rather than in the confinement of larger commercial feedlot operations.
